This semester, I am developing projects in both Econometrics and Big Data Analytics. These courses are allowing me to strengthen my ability to handle statistical analysis, large datasets, and industry-relevant questions about digital content performance.

Econometrics Project: Short vs. Long Video Content

  • Goal: Investigate why short-form video content (e.g., TikTok, Shorts) gains more popularity compared to long-form content.

  • Skills I’m Using: Stata, econometric modeling, data analysis.

  • What I’m Learning: Applying econometric methods to real-world media consumption trends, combining statistics with business insights.

Big Data Analytics Project : TBD

  • Goal: Explore large-scale datasets to uncover insights and deep dive into Python

  • Skills I’m Using: Python (advanced with big data libraries), Repo, GitHub, Terminal

  • What I’m Learning: Data engineering concepts and advanced analytics for handling high-volume datasets.

While the topics may evolve as the semester progresses, these projects highlight my ability to adapt and apply quantitative methods to different research areas.
